September 25, 2011 Pork Chop Sunday @ Camp Woodsmoke
The day started off cool and damp as overnight the camp received some rain showers and even in the morning of PCS it drizzled.
Fountain City Lions and Franklin Lions were at camp early to start preparing the meal.
The Fountain City Lions did themselves proud again as they grilled all the pork chops for the day.
The Franklin Lions baked all of the potatoes and made the green beans for the day.
The Southport Lions got the drinks ready and coffee would be a needed item throughout the day.
PDG Earl Whipple had the volunteers in line as the day progressed and everything went nicely.
The cool damp weather seemed to have kept the crowd down a some, however those who came out to the annual PCS had a great meal and some great entertainment.
The BOD for Camp Woodsmoke would like to Thank everyone who came out to make this day a special event.
We love showing off the camp and it's many wonders. So put September 30, 2012 on your calendar, and we will see you there next year.
