Started in 1964, the Lions of Indiana District 25-F saw a need for a place where individuals with special needs could come and have the opportunity to experience the beauty of nature.

The camp offers both primitive and cabin camping facilities for outdoor recreation and nature activities.

Camp Woodsmoke has grown to provide unique camping experiences to underprivileged, mentally and physically challenged individuals and others who would benefit from enjoying the chance to camp.

Camp Woodsmoke gives these special people the resources, skills and experience that will serve them during their lifetime.

Camp Woodsmoke is an ongoing project of the District 25-F Lions.

A more detailed history of this great project is being put together and when complete it will be posted here.
